Ghost Writing?
Product designer Nadine Jarvis has recently come up with a fascinating idea.
In her piece Carbon Copies she explores using the deseased ashes to make pencils, “pencils made from the carbon of human remains. 240 pencils can be made from an average body of ash – a lifetime supply of pencils for those left behind.”
We at MFF are always excited by an idea that thinks ‘out of the box’, and this idea really does put the lead in our pencil!

cooolio!! like the idea of a novel being written with me but not too sure about being used for shopping lists …hmmmm

This is a terrible idea! I’d hate to think of someone sitting at a desk gnawing on my remains because they can’t think of what to write next! If I’m gonna have bite marks on me I’d much prefer it to be something I can remember (i.e a wild night after picking up at the bar)!!!!
