Hersheys Kisses are now offering personalised Kisses for special occasions like weddings, birthdays and anniversaries.

What a great idea it would be to personalise kisses for funerals. Kisses could include messages such as “RIP Anita”, “You’ll be Missed Steve” or “Love Always”.

No one can resist a kiss and what better occasion to offer one!

Buddhists in Tibet believe that when a person dies, the soul leaves the body so there really is no need to keep the empty vessel.

Therefore, the body is given back to the land in the form of Tibetan Sky Ritual (or Excarnation).

The procedure takes place on a large flat rock in a specific location. A monk and several rogyapas (body breakers) will dismember the body, grind down the bones and flesh and then feed it to vultures.

Robert Jordan, famous author of the epic “Wheel of Time” fantasy series died Sunday afternoon after a long battle with a rare blood disease called amyloidosis. He was 58.

Love him or hate him, one cannot help being inspired and moved by the late comic Bernard Manning’s message from the grave. The British comic veteran, died at the age of 76 of kidney failure, but before doing so he produced a ‘living wake’. Check-out the highlights of this amazing piece of surreal TV below.

A new idea that seems to be cultivating these days, is to have your ashes made into something that can take pride of place in your garden.

It wasn’t too long ago when having your ashes scattered under a tree in the garden, seemed somewhat avant garde. But this idea always posed the question - what if you moved, would you take the tree with you?

Ghost Writing?

Product designer Nadine Jarvis has recently come up with a fascinating idea.

In her piece Carbon Copies she explores using the deseased ashes to make pencils, “pencils made from the carbon of human remains. 240 pencils can be made from an average body of ash – a lifetime supply of pencils for those left behind.”
